These Terms of Service apply to photography services and purchases from Vickshots Photography (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and to use of vickshots.com. By booking a session, paying a deposit, or ordering from us, you agree to them. Each booking also comes with a photography agreement that confirms your session details.

Booking and Payment

A 50% deposit reserves your date and time. The deposit is non-refundable.
The remaining balance is due 15 to 30 days before your session.
We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Zelle, CashApp, and Venmo.
Session length, number of outfits, and pricing are set by the package or quote you book.

Rescheduling and Cancellation

Your deposit transfers to one reschedule when you give us at least 48 hours’ notice.
A later change, a second reschedule, or a no-show forfeits the deposit, and a new deposit may be required to rebook.
If we must cancel for illness, an emergency, or another reason beyond our control, we will reschedule at no charge or refund what you have paid.

Weather

If an outdoor session is rained out or conditions are unsafe, we will reschedule at no charge, or move indoors if a suitable location is available.

Events and Extra Time

Event coverage is booked for a set number of hours. If you ask us to keep shooting past the booked window, additional time is billed at $200 per additional 30 minutes. Commercial and aerial work is quoted per job, and its terms are confirmed in your agreement.

Travel

The first 50 miles from our base are included. Travel of 50 to 100 miles adds $25, 100 to 150 miles adds $50, and anything farther is quoted.

Delivery

Edited photos are delivered through a private online gallery, typically within 5 to 7 business days of your session. Every package includes web- and social-resolution downloads. High-resolution digital files, prints, canvas, and framed art are available for purchase from your gallery. Printed products ship in about 7 to 14 days from the order date.

Copyright and Your Usage Rights

Vickshots Photography retains the copyright to all images.
You receive a personal-use release: you may share your images online and, once you have purchased the high-resolution files, print them yourself.
Personal use does not include resale, entering images in contests, or commercial or advertising use without our written permission.
Please do not apply filters or edits that alter the look of the photos before sharing them, and do not remove watermarks where they appear.

Our Use of Your Images

We may use select images from your session in our portfolio, on our website, and on social media. If you would prefer we did not, tell us before your session or at any time afterward and we will stop using them going forward. We never publish a photo of a child on their own without a parent’s permission.

Limitation of Liability

We take care to deliver a complete set of images. In the rare event that we cannot, because of equipment failure, loss of data, illness, or circumstances beyond our control, our liability is limited to a reschedule or a refund of the amounts you have paid for the affected session.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.
