Commercial & Event Photography in Kansas City

Photos That Do Their Job

Your storefront, your team, your event floor — photographed the way you’d actually want a customer or a client to see it first.

Most business photography ends up looking like it was taken on the way out the door — flat lighting, awkward crops, nobody looking at the camera on purpose. I treat commercial work with the same care as a wedding: showing up on time, working fast so I’m not in your team’s way, and delivering images that actually look like your brand. Career fairs, product launches, storefronts, team photos, conference floors — if it’s happening at your business, I can cover it. That includes aerial and drone photography for storefronts, property and outdoor events.

Festival & Event Coverage

Golden hour, a big crowd, then a night sky full of lanterns — photos and video from The Lights Fest at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Warrensburg, MO (October 3, 2026). Big crowds, fast-moving moments and low light are exactly where careful event coverage matters.

Commercial & Event Pricing

Projects start at $250 · every job is quoted individually

Commercial work varies too much for fixed packages — a set of staff headshots, a half-day event, a real estate walkthrough and a product shoot are four different jobs. So rather than guess, we price each one on what it actually needs: how long we are on site, how many finished images you want, and what usage rights you need for marketing and advertising.

Questions Businesses Ask

How much does commercial photography cost in Kansas City?

Commercial projects start at $250 and are quoted individually, because a set of staff headshots, a half-day event and a product shoot are very different jobs. Pricing depends on how long we are on site, how many finished images you need, and what usage rights you need for marketing and advertising.

What kind of commercial photography do you shoot?

Corporate and business events are the core of it — trade shows and conference booths, company meetings, award ceremonies, grand openings, press events, customer and employee appreciation events, and festivals. We also cover career fairs, storefront and location shoots, and team or corporate group photos, plus aerial and drone for storefronts, property and outdoor events.

How far in advance should we book for an event?

Two to four weeks out is usually plenty for a single event, but for a set date like a launch or a conference, earlier is safer to guarantee availability.

Can you shoot a recurring event or an ongoing partnership?

Yes — several clients book us for annual events or ongoing content needs. We can talk through a standing arrangement if that fits what you need.

How quickly do we get the photos back?

Your edited online gallery is delivered within 5–7 business days. Larger events with a higher image count can run to the longer end of that. If you have a hard deadline, tell us when you book and we will work to it.

Do you offer usage rights for marketing and advertising?

Yes. Usage is part of every quote — tell us where the images are going (your website, social media, print collateral, paid advertising) and the licence is scoped and priced to match, so there is no confusion later.

How many photos do we get?

Every edited photo from the shoot, with no set cap. Finished images are delivered as high-resolution files through an online gallery, ready to put to work.

Will you take group and team photos, or just candids?

Both. Organized team and group photos are part of the coverage, alongside candids of the room, the floor, and the moments as they happen. Send us the must-have groupings and the key people to watch for ahead of time.

Can you stay longer if the event runs late?

Yes. On-site extensions are arranged on the day and added to your quote — no need to lock the exact hours in ahead of time.

Do you offer a highlight video?

A short highlight reel built from the still photos taken during the event is included at no extra charge. Dedicated video coverage through the event is a separate add-on, quoted with the project.

Do you bring a second photographer?

A second photographer is available for larger events or when more than one space needs coverage at the same time — it is added to the quote.

How do we book, and how do payments work?

Get in touch by phone or email with your date, the scope, and the venue, and you will get a quote — usually the same day. Once it is approved we send an agreement and an invoice. A 50% deposit reserves your date; the balance is due before the event. The invoice takes major credit cards, Zelle, CashApp, or Venmo.

Do you travel to the venue?

We cover the Kansas City metro on both sides of the state line at no added travel cost. Anything further out is factored into your quote.

What if we need to cancel or reschedule?

The full cancellation and rescheduling terms are in the agreement you sign when you book. As a rule we would rather reschedule than cancel — let us know as early as you can and we will work out the best option.

What do you need from us on the day?

Access to the event and the venue, your shot list, a point of contact who knows the schedule, and introductions to the key people we will be photographing.
